DANCE FOR PARKINSON'S, WATERFORD CHESHIRE HOME

Mondays 1-2pm, from 25th Sept 2017

Run by Waterford and SE Branch of Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.

This class runs every Monday 1-2pm at Waterford Cheshire Home, John's Hill, Waterford.

About the group:

This small but robust group have been in existence for some years. The Parkinson's group realise how important music, movement and singing are to the health and welfare of individuals with Parkinson’s. In the absence of facilities and services, they decided to seek appropriate teachers/tutors in these fields. They were very fortunate to acquire the services of Libby Seward for movement and dance originally and THEN in 2015 , Dee Grant came on board to facilitate dance classes . The class has so far, with the assistance of the WWETB and our own fundraising, managed to run these classes weekly and they are very important and beneficial to the members.
